This coffee pushes the boundaries of flavor in a way that few can. The “Blueberry Jelly” nanolot is a balanced, fruit-forward cup - subtly sweet, complex, and shaped by the attentive growing and processing methods of our partners at Gold Mountain Coffee Growers.

Through precise, advanced fermentation techniques, they’ve taken the flavor of this unique varietal to the next level, bringing out tasty notes of blueberry and dark plum, balanced by soft florals and slightly nutty vanilla undertones.

Our most popular offering is back! Grown by 1200 small-scale farmers and sourced by our friends at Ally Coffee Importers, this coffee gets its name from the Koke washing station where it is first processed.

Koke Honey brings some dynamic modern flavors to the cup - playful peach and raspberry notes, balanced with a rich, deep body profile that reminds us of roasted cacao.

In the cup, we find notes of panela (raw sugar), ripe tamarind, and crumb cake in this reserve lot from Finca Santa Lucia.

Produced by third-generation farmer Raul Rodriguez at his Certified Organic farm in Tres Pinos, Honduras - over two and a half hours from the nearest city of Comayagua. Finca Santa Lucia also serves as a habitat for many birds, including his favorite - the Toucan.

Is there change brewing for workers in the coffee industry?

Cafe workers have faced issues in the workplace for a long time, though unionization has historically been low in the sector. As workplace issues have become exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, however, workers are realizing the benefits that unionization can offer.

Aiden Graham (NC AFL-CIO) offers one other suggestion, however:

“The other thing that we need is workers organizing, anywhere and everywhere they can.”
